Skanjvee or shikanjvee, is a traditional lime drink originated from India/Pakistan. We mostly make this during Ramadan.
Ingredients:
5 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup luke warm water
2 limes
Ice
Mint (optional)
Method:
Pour the sugar into luke warm water and mix until all the sugar has dissolved.
Squeeze the limes and mix in with the sugar
Grab a serving jug and fill with cold water.
Pour the lime and sugar mixture into the cold water. Top with some mint and ice, then it's ready to serve!
